Top Ten tips for Ghost-hunters.

1.     Always remain rational – if the lights all go out that doesnt necessarily mean that there is a paranormal explanation – check the electrics first!

2.     Always take notice of your intuition – it is your number one tool in Ghost-hunting. If your intuition is telling you to run then RUN!

3.     Make sure you always carry spare batteries and torches – spirits have a way of draining new batteries and messing around with equipment – dont get caught out and always carry spares.

4.     Always take spare jumpers/scarves/leggings – anything that will keep you warm – even in the summer its easy to misjudge how cold it gets in the middle of the night!

5.     Take some Chocolate and some water – two great grounding foods which will also give you a quick boost when your energy is flagging.

6.     Before you begin the hunt remember to protect your energy – see the protection exercise below.

7.     If you do see anything try and get a picture!

8.     Remember that full manifestations are quite rare – although they do happen. Dont get disappointed if you dont see a full blown ghost!

9.     Make sure you have something to eat before you begin (not necessary if you are on a psychic supper of course). At 3am everyones tummy begins to rumble if you dont – which can be off-putting when you are listening out for a ghost!

    10.   Most important rule of all – have fun!

Protection:-

If you don’t want to feel drained at the end of the night, or end up with a head-ache, then I would advise you most strongly to use the protection exercise below.

Visualise a bubble around yourself, protecting the outer edge of your aura like a strong, flexible egg-shell. Your bubble can be filled with any colour that takes your fancy when you visualise it- blue is always good for protection. Experiment to see which colour you feel most comfortable with. Make sure that your bubble goes all around you- behind your back and under your feet too. Use your intention to ensure that the bubble repels all negativity, but will allow positive energies to flow through it. Put your bubble in place whenever you feel the need for protection. – and remember to KEEP REINFORCING IT!

You don’t have to visualise a bubble – it can be a protective cloak, the wings of an angel or even a zipped up sleeping bag! As long as if covers you completely, just go with whatever feels right for you.

Now you are ready for some serious Ghost-Hunting….
